Non-Fuel Retail (NFR) Lead
About the Role
Puma Energy Pakistan is looking for a commercially driven Non-Fuel Retail (NFR) Lead based at its Head Office in Karachi. The role drives retail station convenience stores, quick-service restaurant partnerships, ATM/branchless banking kiosks, and EV charging initiatives across Puma's nationwide retail network.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and commercialize lucrative Non-Fuel Retail opportunities across Puma Energy retail stations nationwide.
- Negotiate and execute strategic alliances with leading convenience store brands, QSR food chains, and commercial banks.
- Prepare financial feasibility studies, rent yield models, and business development proposals for senior leadership.
- Oversee end-to-end NFR site rollout, branding compliance, visual merchandising, and partner SLA performance.
- Drive EV charging infrastructure partnerships and digital retail payment integration at selected flagship stations.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in Non-Fuel Retail within an Oil Marketing Company (OMC) or FMCG retail network.
- Proven track record of managing commercial contracts, vendor negotiations, and franchise leasing.
- Strong analytical, commercial evaluation, and financial budgeting skills.
- Excellent presentation, project execution, and relationship management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience rolling out convenience store formats (C-stores) or QSRs on petrol pump forecourts.
- Network of commercial partners in retail, dining, and financial institutions in Pakistan.
