About the Role
Gerry's dnata is hiring a Passenger Services Agent at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, to handle passenger check-in, boarding gate coordination, customer service, and international airline departure operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct passenger check-in, document verification, baggage acceptance, and boarding pass issuance on airline DCS systems
- Manage boarding gate departure operations, passenger boarding reconciliation, and gate announcements
- Assist passengers requiring special assistance (wheelchair passengers, unaccompanied minors, transit passengers)
- Ensure adherence to international airline security protocols, IATA travel regulations, and airport safety standards
- Deliver welcoming, world-class customer service while resolving travel delays or baggage inquiries calmly
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Intermediate with relevant customer service or aviation diploma
- 1 to 2 years of customer service or airline ground handling experience (fresh graduates with excellent communication may apply)
- Fluent English and Urdu verbal communication skills with professional grooming standards
- Ability to operate computerized check-in systems (Altea, Sabre, or Amadeus DCS)
- Willingness to work rotational airport shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Airline Customer Service or IATA Airport Operations
