Personal Banker (Branch Banking & Sales)
About the Role
Samba Bank Limited is seeking dynamic, customer-focused professionals to join as Personal Bankers in Karachi. The role focuses on mobilizing low-cost CASA deposits, acquiring New-to-Bank (NTB) customers, cross-selling wealth products, and delivering exceptional branch banking experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Mobilize low-cost deposit portfolios (Current and Savings Accounts - CASA) to enhance branch profitability and reduce cost of funds.
- Acquire New-to-Bank (NTB) individual and SME clients through proactive networking, cold outreach, and client referrals.
- Cross-sell retail banking products including term deposits, credit cards, consumer assets, and insurance/bancassurance.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with State Bank of Pakistan KYC/AML regulations, account opening protocols, and operational risk standards.
- Provide prompt, ethical service delivery and resolve customer inquiries within stipulated turnaround times (TAT).
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Graduation / Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in retail branch banking, customer service, or deposit sales.
- Sound understanding of branch banking operations, core banking systems, and regulatory guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal, persuasion, and client communication abilities.
- High level of integrity, professional ethics, and customer focus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Established customer relationships and retail deposit client base in Karachi.
- Familiarity with AML/KYC screening software and SBP regulatory reporting.
