About the Role
Punjab Police announces recruitment for 718+ positions of Police Constable (BS-07) in Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur for civil candidates with attractive provincial government allowances.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform law and order maintenance, crime prevention patrols, and checkpoint duties across assigned police beats
- Provide VIP security, public gathering protection, and respond promptly to emergency 15 distress calls
- Assist investigation officers with crime scene preservation, evidence handling, and prisoner escort duties
- Enforce traffic regulations and maintain vigilance over suspicious activities to protect civilian life and property
- Undergo rigorous tactical, physical, and weapon handling drills at the Police Training College
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Secondary School Certificate (Matriculation) from a recognized education board with at least 50% marks
- Domicile and valid CNIC of District Rahim Yar Khan or Rajanpur
- Age: 18 to 22 years as of October 31, 2026
- Physical Standards: Height minimum 5'7" (Male) / 5'2" (Female); Chest 33 x 34.5 inches (Male)
- Physical Endurance: 1.6 km run in 7 minutes (Male) / 10 minutes (Female)
Preferred Qualifications
- Good academic background with active sports or NCC training certification
