Project Director (PPS-09)
About the Role
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) invites experienced professionals for the position of Project Director (PPS-09) on contract under the Prime Minister's Directive Scholarship Program in Islamabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct overall operational and strategic execution of the PSDP-funded project under HEC guidelines
- Manage student intake, university placements, scholarship disbursement, and student welfare across partner institutions
- Ensure compliance with federal financial regulations, PPRA rules, and Planning Commission monitoring standards
- Coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Federal Education, and international diplomatic bodies
- Prepare project progress reviews, PC-IV project completion reports, and presentations for the Project Steering Committee
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Master's Degree (16 years of education) or equivalent (at least 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized university
- Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in public or private sector organizations of good repute
- Including at least 5 years of managerial experience after final degree
- Proven track record in managing government PSDP development projects or large scholarship programs
- Maximum age limit up to 62 years; open merit quota
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience heading federal development projects, international student programs, or university administration
