Project Officer - Programme Coordination & Monitoring
About the Role
READ Foundation is seeking a dedicated Project Officer in Islamabad to coordinate programme implementation, field monitoring, and donor reporting for its Orphan Support Services Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the execution of orphan educational assistance and support programmes in line with donor commitments and annual work plans.
- Conduct field monitoring visits across educational centres to assess project delivery, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage beneficiary verification, enrolment records, academic progress tracking, and assistance distribution.
- Compile and consolidate high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual donor reports and case studies.
- Coordinate with community stakeholders, field staff, and institutional partners to ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Project Management, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in project coordination, M&E, or donor reporting within the development/NGO sector.
- Proven proficiency in data management, report drafting, and beneficiary verification.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English and Urdu.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in education-focused or child welfare non-profit programmes.
