Registered Staff Nurse (BSN / ICU)
About the Role
Chughtai Healthcare is recruiting qualified and compassionate Registered Staff Nurses (BSN) for its inpatient medical centers and intensive care units in Lahore. The nurses deliver dedicated patient care, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical, surgical, and intensive care unit (ICU) patients.
- Administer medications, intravenous infusions, and clinical treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs, neurological responses, and cardiac monitors, promptly escalating abnormal clinical trends.
- Assist attending consultants during medical procedures, bedside examinations, and emergency resuscitations.
- Maintain detailed, accurate electronic medical records (EMR), nursing shift handover reports, and medication charts.
- Uphold strict infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and clinical hygiene standards at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN Generic / Post RN) from a PNC-recognized nursing college.
- Valid, active registration license with the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).
- 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in a tertiary care hospital, with exposure to ICU, CCU, or emergency departments.
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is highly preferred.
- Empathetic patient communication skills, emotional resilience, and readiness to work shift rotations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialized diploma in Critical Care Nursing or Emergency Nursing.
- Experience with computerized Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
