Rotary Machinery Maintenance Supervisor
About the Role
Olive Technical Services (Pvt) Ltd is hiring experienced Rotary Machinery Maintenance Supervisors to lead overhaul and turnaround projects at fertilizer, petrochemical, refinery, and power plants across Pakistan. The position commands teams of mechanical technicians in precision overhauling of critical rotating equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise dismantling, inspection, dynamic balancing, precision alignment, and reassembly of critical industrial rotary equipment.
- Direct turnaround maintenance of centrifugal compressors, high-pressure multistage pumps, steam turbines, and gearboxes.
- Interpret OEM technical manuals, mechanical tolerance charts, engineering drawings, and clearance job cards.
- Execute laser alignment, dial indicator run-out checks, bearing clearances, and mechanical seal replacements.
- Enforce rigorous industrial Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards during hazardous turnaround operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical Technology from a recognized polytechnic institute.
- Minimum 15 years of hands-on field experience supervising rotary equipment maintenance in continuous process industries.
- Proven expertise in major turnaround overhauls within fertilizer, oil refinery, petrochemical, or thermal power plants.
- Mastery of precision measuring instruments, optical alignment tools, and vibration monitoring equipment.
- Willingness to travel extensively and lead teams at plant sites across Pakistan.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience leading mechanical maintenance for major OEMs (e.g. GE, Siemens, Sulzer, Nuovo Pignone).
- Formal industrial safety certifications (NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA).
