Sales Team Lead - Fintech
About the Role
OPay Pakistan is hiring an energetic Sales Team Lead in Lahore to drive merchant acquisition, expand digital wallet adoption, and lead high-performing B2B fintech sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coach field sales executives to achieve monthly and quarterly fintech merchant acquisition targets
- Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives for OPay merchant POS devices, payment gateways, and wallet solutions
- Identify high-potential retail clusters, commercial markets, and corporate partners to expand digital footprint
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Compliance teams to streamline merchant onboarding and KYC processes
- Monitor sales conversion KPIs, track competitor fintech initiatives, and present executive progress reports
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 5 to 7 years of sales experience with proven leadership in fintech, digital banking, EMI, or telecom payments
- Deep understanding of digital financial services, SBP EMI regulations, merchant acquiring, and POS ecosystems
- Track record of meeting or exceeding aggressive revenue and customer acquisition quotas
- Strong team management, commercial negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated network of corporate retailers and commercial merchant alliances across Punjab
