Senior Executive – Material Control & Warehousing
About the Role
Hyundai Nishat Motor (Pvt) Ltd is hiring a Senior Executive / Executive – Material Control at its state-of-the-art automobile assembly plant in Faisalabad. The position manages multi-warehouse raw material deliveries, inventory reconciliation, Material Handling Equipment (MHE) fleet logistics, and production supply continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee warehouse material receipts, CKD/local automotive components storage, and inventory reconciliation in SAP.
- Coordinate timely material feeding to automotive assembly lines ensuring zero downtime or production bottlenecks.
- Manage Material Handling Equipment (MHE) fleet operations, forklift safety, and warehouse space optimization.
- Execute periodic cyclic inventory audits, physical stock verification, and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Enforce compliance with Integrated Management Systems (IMS), Total Quality Management (TQM), and plant HSE regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Industrial) or Business Administration (Supply Chain Management).
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in material control, warehouse management, or automotive supply chains.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP (MM / WM modules) and advanced MS Excel for inventory analytics.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, 5S, FIFO, and warehouse safety standards.
- Excellent cross-departmental coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in an automotive OEM or large-scale precision engineering assembly plant.
- Certifications in Supply Chain Management (CSCP / CPIM) or Kaizen / Six Sigma.
