Senior Manager - Branchless Banking
About the Role
NRSP Microfinance Bank Limited is hiring a Senior Manager - Branchless Banking at its Head Office. The executive spearheads nationwide agent banking networks, mobile wallet platforms, fintech partnerships, and financial inclusion channels across rural Pakistan.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic expansion plans for the bank's nationwide branchless banking and agent networks.
- Drive customer acquisition, wallet transactions, and digital payment volumes across rural and semi-urban communities.
- Oversee agent network management, onboarding due diligence, liquidity balancing, and commission structures.
- Establish fintech partnerships, government-to-person (G2P) social transfers, and corporate payment integrations.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with State Bank of Pakistan Branchless Banking Regulations and AML/CFT frameworks.
- Collaborate with digital banking IT teams to enhance wallet UI/UX, USSD interfaces, and mobile banking functionality.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Economics, or Computer Science.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in branchless banking, digital financial services, or mobile wallet operations.
- In-depth command of SBP Branchless Banking Regulations, agent management systems, and Raast instant payment rails.
- Demonstrated track record scaling retail distribution networks and driving transactional growth.
- Exceptional commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and team leadership capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience leading mobile money or agent networks at a prominent Pakistani microfinance or commercial bank.
- Expertise in digital credit scoring and nano-lending products.
