About the Role
Punjab Livestock & Dairy Development Board (PLDDB) is hiring a Senior Manager Operations & Business Management in Lahore to lead commercial dairy initiatives, silage operations, and donor-funded agricultural projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day operations and strategic business development across PLDDB commercial livestock and dairy farms
- Manage project planning, appraisals, and monitoring for government PSDP and donor-funded agricultural development projects
- Provide operational and financial oversight to maximize productivity in mechanized silage, fodder, and dairy production
- Design performance management systems, institutional strengthening frameworks, and supply chain efficiencies
- Report to the CEO and Board on operational milestones, commercial revenue targets, and project KPIs
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- At least 16 years of education (Master's / BS) in Economics, Public Administration, Development Economics, or Business Economics
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in operations, institutional management, project development, and M&E
- Extensive experience working with government organizations, public sector companies, or donor-funded projects
- Strong financial acumen, strategic planning expertise, and public sector administrative competence
- Age up to 60 years
Preferred Qualifications
- Higher degree (M.Phil / PhD) in Economics or Public Administration with direct agricultural/livestock enterprise leadership
