Senior Manager - Supply Chain
About the Role
Kamal Mills (Hosiery & Towel Division) is hiring a Senior Manager Supply Chain to lead its procurement and supply operations in Faisalabad. The role oversees strategic sourcing, raw material planning, vendor development, and inventory optimization across large-scale textile export operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end supply chain functions encompassing local and international sourcing, procurement planning, and supplier management.
- Develop strategic sourcing frameworks for yarns, chemicals, packaging materials, machine spares, and operational consumables.
- Execute cost reduction initiatives, alternate supplier qualifications, and working capital optimization across manufacturing units.
- Monitor purchase requisitions (PR), purchase orders (PO), vendor delivery TATs, quality clearances, and supplier scorecards.
- Collaborate closely with production heads, merchandising managers, and warehouse teams to guarantee zero production downtime.
- Ensure disciplined compliance with internal procurement SOPs, approved budgets, and Oracle ERP workflows.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.
- 10–15 years of progressive supply chain and procurement leadership experience, specifically within the textile manufacturing sector.
- Deep expertise in textile raw materials, dyes, chemicals, packaging, and international trade documentation.
- Demonstrated track record of aggressive cost negotiation and strategic supplier relationship management.
- High proficiency in Oracle ERP, supply chain analytics, and MS Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional supply chain certification (CSCP, CPSM, or CIPS).
- Prior experience leading supply chain in large-scale composite home textile or towel export mills.
