Senior Master / Mistress (Academic Leadership)
About the Role
The City School Network is recruiting an experienced Senior Master / Mistress for its Gulshan-e-Hadeed Campus in Karachi. Serving on the Senior Leadership Team, the role spearheads academic excellence, faculty supervision, curriculum delivery, and the implementation of the School Improvement Plan (SIP).
Key Responsibilities
- Drive academic quality, curriculum planning, and innovative pedagogical delivery across primary and secondary tiers.
- Conduct formal classroom observations, evaluate teaching standards, and deliver actionable coaching to faculty.
- Manage academic scheduling, staff timetables, subject resource allocations, and examination administrations.
- Analyze student assessment datasets, track learning progress, and formulate targeted academic intervention plans.
- Address parental concerns constructively, fostering collaborative partnerships between home and school.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Educational Leadership, or a related academic discipline.
- 8 to 10 years of professional teaching and educational leadership experience in reputed English-medium schools.
- Proven capability in directing academic departments, conducting appraisals, and executing school improvement plans.
- Exceptional English communication, conflict resolution, and institutional management skills.
- Strong understanding of modern formative and summative assessment frameworks (Cambridge / Matric).
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal certification in Educational Administration, Cambridge Leadership, or PGDE.
- Demonstrated experience in a large private school network in Pakistan.
