Site Supervisor – Civil Construction
About the Role
Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is hiring a dedicated Site Supervisor (Civil Construction) for community infrastructure and humanitarian rehabilitation projects in Bela, Balochistan. The role oversees on-site contractor execution, material quality inspections, work schedules, and construction safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily on-site civil construction activities, ensuring work adheres to structural drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate instructions to construction contractors, skilled labor, and equipment operators.
- Inspect quality and verify quantities of incoming building materials including cement, rebar, aggregates, and masonry.
- Monitor daily progress against master project milestones and report site bottlenecks to the Project Engineer.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards on the construction site.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil Engineering or B.Tech Civil from a recognized technical board.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on civil construction supervision experience in building construction or community infrastructure.
- Proficiency in reading civil and structural engineering drawings, bar bending schedules, and material testing reports.
- Strong on-site problem-solving, team management, and daily progress reporting skills.
- Willingness to be stationed full-time at the project site in Bela, Balochistan.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with humanitarian NGOs, charitable trusts, or rural infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with local language and construction practices in Balochistan.
