Student Support Officer
About the Role
IQRA University North Campus is seeking a dedicated Student Support Officer in Karachi to facilitate academic advising, manage student lifecycle inquiries, and coordinate student services.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between students, faculty advisors, and campus academic administration
- Provide guidance on course registration, academic policies, semester schedules, and grading criteria
- Manage student helpdesk communications, resolve academic grievances, and follow up until closure
- Assist in prospective student counseling, campus orientation programs, and student documentation verification
- Maintain accurate academic logs, student attendance records, and enrollment status updates
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related discipline
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in university student affairs, academic counseling, or educational administration
- Empathetic personality with outstanding active listening and student counseling skills
- Proficiency in student information management systems (CMS/LMS) and MS Office suite
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in academic administration in an HEC-chartered university
