Telecom Engineer – Microwave & Transmission Planning
About the Role
Turnotech Inc is hiring Telecom Engineering Professionals across multiple levels (L1 to L5) for nationwide microwave transmission and network planning projects. The role entails High-Level Design (HLD/LLD), frequency planning, link budget calculations, multi-vendor NMS configurations, and power dimensioning for major telecom operators.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare microwave link budget calculations, capacity dimensioning, and transmission network architecture designs (HLD/LLD).
- Conduct microwave frequency planning, interference analysis, and generate SDOQ documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Configure and troubleshoot multi-vendor Network Management Systems (NMS) across Huawei, Ericsson, ZTE, and NEC hardware.
- Provide real-time technical field-team support, fault isolation, and root-cause analysis for high-priority network outages.
- Dimension telecom DC power systems, battery backup durations, and rectifier distribution units for transmission hubs.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunication Engineering from an accredited university.
- 2 to 5 years of proven hands-on experience in microwave transmission planning, NMS operation, or telecom power design.
- Technical proficiency with major OEM platforms including Huawei, Ericsson, ZTE, or NEC microwave equipment.
- Solid knowledge of path loss calculation tools, frequency coordination, and transmission KPIs.
- Valid PEC registration and strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- OEM-certified credentials (e.g. HCIA/HCIP Transmission, Ericsson Certified Associate).
- Experience with cybersecurity compliance standards in cellular transmission networks.
