Treasury & Trade Finance Manager
About the Role
Transsion Tecno Electronics is seeking an experienced Treasury & Trade Finance Manager in Karachi to manage corporate cash flows, import Letters of Credit (LCs), foreign exchange hedging, and bank credit facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily corporate treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, and liquidity management
- Manage end-to-end trade finance operations: LC openings, import retirement payments, bank guarantees, and forward contracts
- Coordinate with commercial banks to negotiate competitive pricing on trade facilities, foreign exchange margins, and credit lines
- Monitor foreign exchange (FX) exposure, manage currency fluctuations, and implement hedging strategies
- Ensure full compliance with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Foreign Exchange Manual and customs import regulations
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or professional certification (CA / ACCA / CFA)
- 8 to 10 years of professional corporate treasury or trade finance experience in a large manufacturing or electronics enterprise
- Comprehensive knowledge of SBP FX regulations, UCP 600 rules, and international import financing structures
- Strong banking relationships and commercial negotiation expertise
- Proficiency in ERP financial modules (SAP / Oracle) and advanced financial modeling in Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling high-volume mobile phone CKD/SKD assembly trade finance and customs clearance in Pakistan
