Unit Head – Batch Hiring (AVP / VP)
About the Role
The Bank of Khyber (BOK), a major provincial commercial bank, is recruiting an experienced banking HR professional for the position of Unit Head – Batch Hiring (AVP to SVP-I grade) at its Head Office in Peshawar. The incumbent will steer annual batch hiring strategies, graduate trainee induction, and nationwide talent assessment centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute end-to-end volume and batch recruitment campaigns for Management Trainee Officers (MTOs) and cash officers.
- Design and execute innovative candidate sourcing strategies, computer-based testing, and structured assessment centers.
- Drive BOK's employer branding initiatives through nationwide university partnerships, campus drives, and digital recruitment channels.
- Maintain recruitment analytics, real-time dashboards, and present hiring pipeline MIS to executive management.
- Manage external vendor partnerships with testing agencies, recruitment portals, and background verification providers.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Graduation / Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field from an HEC-recognized university.
- 7 to 13 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition with at least 3 years handling large-scale batch/volume hiring.
- Extensive experience within the commercial banking or financial services industry in Pakistan.
- Deep understanding of talent assessment methodologies, competency-based interviews, and recruitment metrics.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience managing nationwide MTO / Trainee batch drives in a premier commercial bank.
- Familiarity with State Bank of Pakistan governance criteria and fair merit hiring standards.
