Yarn Officer
About the Role
Sarena Textile Industries is hiring a detail-oriented Yarn Officer in Lahore (Sheikhupura Road) to oversee yarn procurement verification, vendor invoice processing, and supply chain inventory reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, verify, and route vendor invoices across Tax, PPC, Quality, and Accounts departments for timely clearance
- Reconcile supplier ledgers, execute payment adjustments, and resolve billing discrepancies with internal audit teams
- Track yarn dispatches and arrivals against Purchase Orders, maintaining Material Receipt Notes (MRNs) and freight bilities
- Coordinate with Quality Control for yarn evaluation reports and verify Production Planning & Control (PPC) schedules
- Manage post-dated cheques (PDC), track withholding tax certificates, and facilitate supplier dispatch settlements
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Textile Technology
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in textile yarn procurement, inventory coordination, or vendor accounting
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP software, and inventory management registers
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and administrative follow-up capability
- Willingness to work on-site at the industrial plant located on Sheikhupura Road, Lahore
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to weaving, spinning, or dyeing yarn documentation and supply chains
