Senior Product Engineer (Python / Django)
About the Role
Arbisoft is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to develop scalable backend architectures and data-intensive platforms for US Silicon Valley client partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, performant, and well-tested Python / Django backend services.
- Design database schemas and optimize PostgreSQL query execution times for large datasets.
- Collaborate closely with Silicon Valley product managers and engineering directors.
- Mentor mid-level and associate engineers in software craft and test-driven development (TDD).
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related degree with 4+ years of software development experience.
- Deep mastery of Python, Django, REST framework, and asynchronous task queues (Celery/Redis).
- Proficiency in writing robust automated unit and integration test suites using PyTest.
- Strong algorithmic problem-solving ability and data structure knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
- Open source contributions or experience with high-load SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with containerized development and AWS serverless architectures.
