About the Role
Ombudsperson Punjab has one full-time Assistant Director (I.T) post in Lahore on lump sum pay of up to PKR 160,000 per month, open to candidates aged 25 to 40 with a 16-year computer degree, five years of post-qualification software development experience and a required domicile. Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Practical experience in designing, developing, implementing and maintaining software systems and applications.
- Experience of web application development using core.NET and related technologies.
- Domicile is required for this position.
- Preference shall be given to candidates with proven experience of leading software development as a team lead and of successfully developing, managing or implementing major IT or software projects or information systems.
- Build and document client-server and complex multi-tier distributed web-based applications, using ASP.NET, VB.NET and related core.NET technologies.
- Lead software development as a team lead where the assignment calls for it, and take major IT or software projects and information systems through development, management and implementation.
- A Master's degree of 16 years, or a Bachelor's (Hons) degree of 16 years, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or an equivalent and relevant discipline from a university or institution recognised by the Higher Education Commission.
- At least five years of post-qualification professional experience in software development, preferably in a public sector organisation, a government department or a reputable private-sector organisation.
