Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of incident response playbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Support Purple Team exercises and simulate threat scenarios to validate detection mechanisms and improve incident readiness.
- Maintain detailed incident logs, reports, and metrics for post-incident review and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Minimum 16 years of education in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Cyber Security from an HEC-recognized university.
- Experience in Network Operations Center (NOC) will not be considered as Security Operations Center (SOC) experience.
- Age limit: 24 to 34 years.
- Gender: Both male and female candidates are eligible.
- Domicile is required for this position.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to escalated security events and incidents from L1 SOC analysts across various security platforms including SIEM, EDR, firewall, and IDS/IPS.
- Assist in the containment, eradication, and recovery phases of the incident response lifecycle.
- At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in information/cyber security with a SOC role, including incident response, threat hunting, threat intelligence, and malware research within large-scale national or international organizations.
