Key Responsibilities
- Support the Manager/Senior Manager – Financial Management in the overall management of the project's financial portfolio and ensure compliance with PGEP agreements, PIM, donor requirements and internal controls.
- Support preparation of annual financial statements and monthly, quarterly and annual financial closure processes.
- Conduct quarterly field-level reviews of POs' SoEs, identify non-compliance, maintain issue-tracking records and follow up on corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate financial records, prepare vouchers, record transactions, and support PMU payments and disbursements to POs.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, financial management and reporting.
- Audit and advisory experience with a Big Four audit firm is an added advantage.
- Experience supporting multi-stakeholder development sector projects, including community development and trainings, technical vocational education and livelihoods, is an added advantage.
- Knowledge and experience of independently preparing an annual budget and work plan, and periodic financial progress reports of a project, is an added advantage.
- Experience reviewing Partner Organizations' Statements of Expenditure and handling a project's internal and external audits, donors' fiduciary reviews, including audits by the Auditor General's office, is an added advantage.
- Maximum age limit is 45 years.
- Master's degree or 16-year education in Business Administration, or CA intermediate, ACMA, ACCA, M.Com, or a related field.
- The advertised eligible qualifications also include BS Applied Accounting, MBA (Accounting & Finance), MBA (Banking & Finance), MBA (Finance), Associate Cost and Management Accountant (ACMA), M.Com Finance, BS Business Management & Accounting, BS Accounting & Taxation, and Associate Member of Chartered Management Accountant of Pakistan (ACMAP).
