Assistant Manager - Indirect Procurement
About the Role
Lucky Core Industries Limited (formerly ICI Pakistan) is hiring an Assistant Manager Indirect Procurement at its Corporate Head Office in Karachi. The role drives strategic sourcing, vendor development, commercial contracts, and cost optimization for non-production categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing for indirect procurement categories including IT hardware/software, corporate services, CAPEX, and marketing.
- Develop and implement category sourcing strategies to achieve sustainable cost reductions and supply reliability.
- Manage vendor evaluations, pre-qualifications, commercial negotiations, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies, ethical standards, and SAP Ariba procurement workflows.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across corporate and manufacturing sites to consolidate spend demand.
- Track procurement KPIs, vendor scorecards, and spend analytics to report savings to the Head of Procurement.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering from an accredited university.
- 4–6 years of corporate indirect procurement experience in a leading multinational or large diversified Pakistani conglomerate.
- Strong track record in vendor negotiation, contract drafting, and spend category management.
- Hands-on expertise with SAP / SAP Ariba and procurement analytics.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or CSCP certification.
- Experience sourcing enterprise IT services, cloud solutions, and corporate consulting contracts.
