Assistant Manager Internal Audit
About the Role
DIN Group is hiring an Assistant Manager Internal Audit at its Corporate Head Office on Raiwind Road, Lahore, to conduct pre- and post-audits, investigate control variances, and execute physical stock takes across group mills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct operational, financial, and compliance audits in accordance with approved annual audit plans.
- Lead monthly physical stock verification and inventory counts at mills, warehouses, and storage depots.
- Perform internal fact-finding exercises, fraud risk reviews, and forensic discrepancies investigations.
- Draft comprehensive audit reports with actionable internal control recommendations for group management.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- CA Finalist / ACCA Qualified / ICMA Qualified from a recognized professional accounting institute.
- Minimum 3 years of mandatory articleship with a reputable audit firm plus internal audit experience in manufacturing/textiles.
- Deep understanding of internal control frameworks (COSO), risk assessment, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Proficiency in ERP accounting environments, advanced spreadsheet analysis, and audit documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to textile processing, spinning, or heavy manufacturing audit cycles.
