Assistant Manager - Production Planning (Knits Apparel)
About the Role
Kamal Textile Mills (Pvt) Ltd is recruiting an Assistant Manager – Planning (Knits Apparel) in Faisalabad to manage yarn-to-shipment production planning, sewing line balancing, and on-time export fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop daily, weekly, and monthly master production schedules (MPS) from yarn procurement to finished garment export.
- Coordinate workflows across Knitting, Dyeing, Processing, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, and Packing units.
- Monitor Work-In-Progress (WIP) levels, material consumption variance, and line loading efficiencies.
- Identify manufacturing bottlenecks on sewing floors and implement corrective capacity allocations.
- Ensure 100% On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) container dispatches for high-profile international export buyers.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- 5 to 8 years of solid planning experience in knit apparel export manufacturing.
- Comprehensive end-to-end knowledge of the entire Yarn-to-Shipment textile processing lifecycle.
- High proficiency in production scheduling ERP modules, capacity planning models, and advanced MS Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with tier-1 export buyers (e.g. Target, Walmart, H&M, Zara).
