About the Role
Allied Engineering & Services Ltd (official Caterpillar dealer in Pakistan) is hiring an Assistant Manager Sales in Lahore. The position spearheads commercial business development, tender bids, and heavy machinery sales across Central Punjab.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth and market share for Caterpillar construction and mining equipment across Central Punjab.
- Identify new business leads, nurture key accounts, and manage commercial relationships with contractors and industrial clients.
- Prepare technical quotations, commercial proposals, tender packages, and RFQ responses.
- Conduct contract negotiations and coordinate with logistics and engineering teams for timely machinery delivery.
- Monitor sales pipeline, track competitor activity, and provide monthly sales forecasts to regional management.
- Attend industry exhibitions, client conferences, and conduct live machinery demonstrations.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration.
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience in heavy equipment, construction machinery, industrial power, or commercial vehicles.
- In-depth market knowledge of industrial and infrastructure contractors across Lahore and Central Punjab.
- Outstanding communication, consultative selling, and commercial negotiation capabilities.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the region for client meetings and jobsite inspections.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct sales experience with Caterpillar (CAT), Komatsu, or equivalent international heavy equipment brands.
- Strong network of contacts within government infrastructure and private engineering firms.
