Assistant Manager - Area Sales
About the Role
Colgate-Palmolive Pakistan is recruiting an experienced Assistant Manager Sales for Islamabad and Quetta territories to spearhead FMCG distribution, trade marketing execution, and retail volume growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct primary and secondary sales operations across assigned territory distributors to achieve monthly sales targets.
- Lead, train, and motivate distributor sales representatives (DSRs) and field sales merchandisers.
- Execute trade marketing plans, retail promotional campaigns, and brand visibility drives in modern and general trade.
- Analyze market share trends, competitor pricing, and distributor inventory replenishment cycles.
- Ensure healthy distributor ROI, timely market credit recovery, and optimal retail coverage footprint.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Commerce from an accredited university.
- 4 to 5 years of proven sales and distribution experience in a multi-category multinational or leading local FMCG company.
- Strong commercial acumen, distributor management expertise, and retail execution track record.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal communication capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing FMCG trade network and distributor management experience in North/Balochistan territory.
