About the Role
Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PRCL), a premier State-Owned Enterprise under the Ministry of Commerce and the sole national reinsurer, invites accomplished commercial leaders for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on a 3-year performance contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic vision, executive governance, and commercial leadership to expand Pakistan's sovereign reinsurance capacity.
- Modernize underwriting protocols, actuarial modeling, treaty arrangements, and retrocession strategies to maximize profitability.
- Ensure full adherence to the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance & Operations) Act 2023 and SECP insurance regulations.
- Drive digital modernization of core reinsurance administration systems, enterprise risk management, and claims settlement workflows.
- Represent Pakistan in international reinsurance syndicates, bilateral trade treaties, and multilateral insurance forums.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Graduate degree (16 years) in Business / Public Administration, Finance, Actuarial Sciences, or Fellow/Associate membership of CA/ACMA/ACII/FCII.
- Minimum 10 years of demonstrable executive leadership in commercially oriented corporate enterprises.
- At least 5 years of verified experience as a Key Officer, Director, CEO, or Principal Officer in the insurance/reinsurance industry or insurance regulatory authority.
- Maximum age limit: 62 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep expertise in international reinsurance treaty negotiations, retrocession structuring, and solvency reserve optimization.
