Credit Operations Manager (OG-I - Aiteemaad Islamic Banking)
About the Role
National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) invites experienced banking professionals to join its Aiteemaad Islamic Banking Group as Credit Operations Manager (OG-I) to lead Islamic financing disbursements and portfolio operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor credit disbursements and adjustments in strict accordance with approved facility offer letters and DACs.
- Manage Islamic profit accruals, asset re-pricing, rental realizations, and Sukuk transaction administration.
- Ensure all financing entries are posted accurately into core banking ALMANAC (LMS) and PD Teller systems.
- Verify Islamic finance collateral documentation, legal mortgages, and pledge registries before fund release.
- Monitor overdue portfolios, manage regulatory SBP reporting, and assist audit teams during compliance inspections.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Graduation or Master's degree from an HEC-recognized local or international university.
- Minimum 4 years of commercial banking experience, including at least 1 year in Credit, Advances, or Islamic operations.
- Strong working knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations, Islamic financing modes (Murabaha, Ijarah, Diminishing Musharakah).
- Proficiency in banking software platforms, core ledger entries, and spreadsheet modeling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Islamic Banking / NIBAF or AAOIFI Shariah standards.
