Deputy Director (security Operations Center)/ L3 Analyst
About the Role
Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) is hiring a Deputy Director (Security Operations Center)/ L3 Analyst in Lahore. This full-time role requires 16 years of education in a relevant field, 5 years of SOC experience, and a valid security certification. The monthly salary is PKR 240,000 to 245,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts, investigate incidents, and implement effective mitigation controls in a timely manner.
- Contribute to continuous SOC process improvements and engage in ongoing training, while collaborating on the development of a SOC maturity plan aligned with industry security frameworks.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities within the environment.
- Recommend and implement mitigation strategies for identified malicious tactics and techniques based on thorough analysis.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and best practices to maintain organizational security standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Minimum 16 years of education in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Cyber Security from an HEC-recognized university.
- Experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) will not be considered as SOC experience.
- Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.
- Domicile is required for this position.
- Must have extensive experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, including a deep understanding of Windows OS, network configurations, and security audit logs.
- At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in Information/Cyber security with a SOC role, including Incident Response, Threat Hunting, Threat Intelligence, and Malware Research within large-scale national or international organizations.
