About the Role
Chase Value is seeking a detail-driven Deputy Manager – Internal Audit in Karachi to supervise retail store audits, analyze inventory shrinkage, review cash handling controls, and ensure supply chain compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute risk-based audit assignments across retail department stores, central distribution warehouses, and head office functions.
- Review cash collection, POS reconciliations, customer returns, procurement cycles, and operating expenditures.
- Conduct surprise stock counts, inventory audits, and investigative reviews into stock variances and shrinkage.
- Prepare high-quality audit reports with root cause assessments and agreed action plans for executive management.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Accounting & Finance; CA Finalist, ACCA, ACMA, or CIA qualification strongly preferred.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant internal audit experience, with significant exposure to large-scale retail or FMCG networks.
- Demonstrated experience supervising audit teams, investigating discrepancies, and evaluating internal controls.
- Advanced proficiency in retail ERP software, MS Excel data modeling, and audit sampling techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of reducing shrinkage and optimizing retail supply chain workflows.
