Director Promotion Marketing
About the Role
The Global Investment & Gateway of Punjab Wing, Services & General Administration Department is recruiting one Director Promotion Marketing in Lahore on a contract basis. Applicants need a 16-year education in a relevant field, at least 15 years of post-qualification experience, and must apply by 28 September 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Gender: both men and women may apply.
- Establish and govern Punjab's investment brand identity from inception, covering the logo system, visual guidelines, tone of voice, messaging frameworks, the investment portal for web and mobile, sector brochures, video assets, infographics and pitch decks benchmarked against international IPAs, and ensure brand consistency across all GIGP touchpoints.
- Develop and execute a media relations and earned-media strategy that secures regular coverage of Punjab's investment climate in tier-one international media (Financial Times, Bloomberg, Reuters, Gulf News, Nikkei Asia) and the Pakistani business press, managing journalist relationships, press releases, media briefings and editorial placements.
- Negotiate co-promotion partnerships with foreign chambers of commerce, bilateral trade bodies, multilateral agencies and diaspora networks to amplify GIGP's reach at marginal cost.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Preference will be given to candidates who hold a degree from a globally recognized institution.
- Age limit: 40 to 55 years.
- Domicile is required for this position.
- Architect and execute GIGP's integrated investment promotion, outreach and communications strategy, defining target geographies, priority sectors, investor segments, campaign calendars, brand positioning and messaging frameworks aligned with Punjab's competitive advantages in agriculture, textiles, IT/ITeS, automotive, pharmaceuticals, energy and logistics.
- Coordinate content production with peer Directors, sourcing sector intelligence from the Director, Sectors & Technical Advisory, regional market insights from the Director, Global Regions, investor testimonials from the Director, After-Care and Expansion, and policy narratives from the Director, Research and Policy, so that GIGP communicates with one integrated, evidence-based voice.
- Build and manage GIGP's digital ecosystem, including the investment portal with integrated lead capture, SEO/SEM strategy, LinkedIn and social media campaigns targeting C-suite decision-makers, programmatic advertising, email marketing automation and data-driven lead-generation funnels.
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration (MBA), International Business, or Mass Communications from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience in investment promotion related communications, development communications, and/or corporate marketing.
