Key Responsibilities
- Gender: Both men and women may apply.
- Update the sector profiles quarterly and publish them on the GIGP investment portal.
- Coordinate with provincial line departments to maintain current, accurate sector data and to identify regulatory reforms that enhance sectoral competitiveness.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Age limit: 40 to 55 years.
- Domicile is required for this position.
- Each sector strategy must contain market sizing, competitive positioning, value-chain mapping, technology and regulatory landscape analysis, and investment opportunity identification.
- Produce investor-ready sector profiles with detailed cost-to-invest models that benchmark Punjab's factor costs, including labour, land, utilities, logistics and taxation, against competitor jurisdictions Vietnam, Bangladesh, India, Morocco, Turkey and Ethiopia.
- Maintain and publish supply-chain maps and value-chain analyses for each priority sector, identifying gaps, import-substitution opportunities, backward and forward linkage potential and cluster-development prospects that inform investor targeting and provincial industrial policy.
- Advise the Director, Promotion & Marketing on sector-specific messaging, collateral content and mission targeting so that every pitchbook, investor presentation and digital campaign is grounded in current sector intelligence and defensible data.
- Advise the Director, Investor Facilitation on sector-specific regulatory pathways, providing technical guidance on approvals, licences, environmental compliance and sector-specific incentive structures to accelerate investor onboarding.
- Master's degree in Engineering related disciplines, Economics, Development or Business Administration (MBA) from an HEC recognized institution.
