Executive Officer - Data Science
About the Role
Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) is hiring an Executive Officer - Data Science on an open competitive contractual package of PKR 323,810 to lead big-data surveillance analytics, predictive policing models, and AI surveillance systems at IC3 Lahore.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy advanced predictive analytics, traffic optimization algorithms, and automated incident detection pipelines.
- Lead the development of deep learning models for license plate recognition (ANPR), facial recognition, and anomaly detection.
- Ingest and process massive real-time sensor and smart camera streaming data using distributed data pipelines.
- Collaborate with police intelligence and municipal traffic teams to deliver actionable visual intelligence and crime heatmaps.
- Optimize model deployment latency, data pipeline throughput, and automated alerts across IC3 command center consoles.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's (16/18 years) in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Software Engineering.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and production AI pipelines.
- Expert programming in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, SQL, and big data streaming platforms (Kafka, Spark).
- Demonstrated expertise in deploying computer vision and geospatial analytics solutions in high-throughput environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in smart city infrastructure, surveillance analytics, or defense AI systems.
