Field Application Specialist - Bio Monitoring
About the Role
Martin Dow Specialities is hiring a Field Application Specialist (Bio Monitoring) in Lahore. The technical sales specialist drives commercial sales, customer applications, and demonstrations of microbiological testing products, culture media, and laboratory instruments across Central Punjab.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial sales and technical promotion of microbiological culture media, rapid bio-monitoring kits, and lab instrumentation across the Central region.
- Conduct live product demonstrations, application troubleshooting, and method validation at pharmaceutical and food testing laboratories.
- Identify new prospective clients among pharmaceutical manufacturers, QC testing labs, and research institutions.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve assigned territory revenue and gross margin targets.
- Build long-term technical partnerships with laboratory managers, microbiologists, and procurement leads.
- Maintain detailed sales pipeline reports, customer visit logs, and market intelligence on competitor offerings.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- M.Sc. or B.S. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Molecular Biology.
- 2–3 years of specialized sales or technical application experience in pharmaceutical QC labs, food testing, or scientific laboratory distribution.
- Deep understanding of microbiological testing protocols, cleanroom bio-monitoring, and culture media preparation.
- Strong consultative selling, public speaking, and presentation skills.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel across Central Punjab.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience selling international bio-monitoring brands (e.g. Merck, bioMérieux, Thermo Fisher).
- Working knowledge of cGMP and pharmacopeial microbiological testing standards.
