About the Role
Al Meezan Investment Management Limited is seeking an accomplished investment leader as Head of Equity in Karachi to manage flagship Shariah-compliant equity mutual funds, lead sector research, and maximize portfolio returns.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct overall equity strategy, asset allocation, and stock selection across all Shariah-compliant equity funds.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise equity portfolio managers, equity research analysts, and trading desks.
- Work with the research team to identify alpha opportunities across Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) sectors.
- Ensure total compliance with SECP mutual fund regulations, risk limits, and Shariah Board guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Master's degree (MBA Finance) or elite professional credential (CFA Charterholder highly preferred).
- Minimum 10+ years of high-level experience in equity research, portfolio management, or investment advisory.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering superior investment returns in institutional capital markets.
- Exceptional macroeconomic acumen, presentation skills, and fiduciary leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience serving on Investment Committees of premier asset management companies.
