Internal Auditor
About the Role
Coca-Cola İçecek Pakistan is seeking an objective and analytical Internal Auditor to join its corporate audit team in Lahore. The role conducts financial, operational, and process reviews to evaluate internal controls and safeguard company resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate risk exposures across corporate governance, manufacturing plants, logistics networks, and information systems.
- Develop and execute risk-based audit task plans and detailed test work programs aligned with the IPPF framework of the IIA.
- Analyze internal control weaknesses, process inefficiencies, and non-compliance with statutory laws or company operating standards.
- Prepare clear, well-documented working papers and draft constructive audit reports containing practical risk mitigation recommendations.
- Conduct independent investigations into code of ethics concerns, fraud allegations, and issues flagged through the corporate Ethics Line.
- Operate Continuous Monitoring Systems (CMS) to track operational exceptions in high-risk areas including discounts, trade credit, and asset reconciliations.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Professional accounting/auditing qualification such as ACCA, CA Inter, CIA, or CFE.
- 3–5 years of internal or external audit experience, preferably within a Big 4 firm or a large manufacturing/FMCG corporation.
- Sound knowledge of International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (IPPF) and local tax/corporate regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience querying ERP databases (SAP) and utilizing audit analytics tools.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to discuss complex audit findings with senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) designation.
- Working familiarity with SAP S/4HANA audit modules and automated workflow tracking.
