About the Role
Department of the Auditor-General of Pakistan invites applications for 31 regular vacancies of Junior Auditor (BPS-11) reserved under the provincial quota at Audit House, Islamabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audit scrutiny of federal government ministries, divisions, autonomous bodies, and public financial accounts.
- Examine financial records, expenditure vouchers, payroll registers, and procurement contracts against PPRA rules.
- Prepare preliminary audit observations, audit paras, and working papers for Departmental Accounts Committees (DAC).
- Verify government revenue collection accounts, treasury receipts, and reconciliation statements.
- Assist Senior Auditors during on-site field inspections and performance auditing assignments.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- 2nd Class or Grade 'C' Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Banking & Finance, Accounting, BBA, or Information Technology.
- Must be computer literate with a verified English typing speed of at least 30 words per minute.
- Age limit: 18 to 30 years (inclusive of 5 years general age relaxation under federal civil service rules).
- Valid domicile of Balochistan province as per the specified recruitment quota.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Government of Pakistan Financial Rules, Treasury Rules, and Public Financial Management Act 2019.
