Lab Attendant-I (SPS-02)
About the Role
PARC invites applications for 2 contract vacancies of Lab Attendant-I (SPS-02) based at BARDC Quetta and CARI Lasbela to assist scientific staff in agronomic, soil chemistry, and plant pathology testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare specialized plant tissue samples, chemical reagents, and soil test beds under scientific supervision.
- Operate autoclaves, incubators, drying ovens, and precision balances in accordance with lab safety SOPs.
- Document sample inventory, test batch records, and storage temperatures.
- Support field research teams during seasonal crop harvesting and specimen collection.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Matriculation certificate or relevant trade certificate (Diploma holders in relevant trade preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant practical laboratory experience with Matric qualification.
- Age Limit: 18 to 40 years (including general government age relaxations).
- Balochistan Provincial Domicile.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma in Associate Engineering (DAE) or Vocational Trade Certificate in Chemical/Bio-tech.
