Lab Attendant-II (SPS-01)
About the Role
PARC is hiring a Lab Attendant-II (SPS-01) for its Coastal Agricultural Research Institute (CARI) in Lasbela, Balochistan, to assist scientists in laboratory cleaning, glassware handling, and soil/crop testing setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Sterilize, clean, and maintain laboratory glassware, test apparatus, and chemical storage benches.
- Assist research officers with sample preparation, soil grinding, and seed viability trials.
- Ensure laboratory safety compliance, chemical spillage prevention, and waste disposal protocols.
- Maintain consumable logbooks and assist in field trials across experimental coastal plots.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Matriculation certificate (Sciences preferred) or relevant trade certificate from a recognized institute.
- Demonstrated familiarity with laboratory apparatus or agricultural practical work.
- Age Limit: 18 to 40 years (General Age Relaxation of 5 years included).
- Valid Balochistan domicile.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous lab assistant experience in educational or research testing facilities.
