Manager - Audit & Assurance
About the Role
Yousuf Adil Chartered Accountants is hiring a Manager - Audit & Assurance for its Karachi Office to manage statutory audit engagements, financial sector client portfolios, and audit team execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and execute statutory audit engagements for large commercial, corporate, and financial sector institutions.
- Ensure audit files, testing methodologies, and financial reporting strictly comply with IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Review complex financial statement disclosures, technical accounting memos, and client internal control environments.
- Lead client relationship management, discuss audit findings with boards and audit committees, and finalize management letters.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate trainee accountants and audit seniors across multiple engagement teams.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- CA Qualified (Chartered Accountant) or ACCA Member.
- 2 to 3 years of post-qualification audit and assurance experience at a reputable practicing chartered accountancy firm.
- In-depth technical knowledge of IFRS, ISA, Companies Act 2017, and Banking Companies Ordinance.
- Strong leadership, professional ethics, report writing, and client advisory skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience managing audit engagements for scheduled banks, mutual funds, or financial institutions.
