About the Role
Punjab Transport Company (PTC) is hiring a Manager (Engineering) for its Project Management Unit in Lahore on a contract basis. The role oversees civil, electrical and structural works for the electric bus depot project. Applications close on 30-Sep-2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Review technical designs, engineering specifications, and architectural documentation for Punjab Transport Company (PTC) projects.
- Supervise on-site construction, technical installations, and contractor quality compliance.
- Conduct site inspections, verify bills of quantities (BOQs), and submit engineering milestone reports.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Minimum 08 years of overall experience in building construction design, supervision, and project planning and execution.
- Experience in public sector building infrastructure projects shall be preferred.
- Domicile is required for this position.
- Review drawings and any amendments made to drawings by the consultant, carry out site inspections and perform quality assurance.
- Monitor construction progress and quality, resolve site-related technical issues, ensure compliance with statutory and environmental regulations, support value engineering initiatives, and prepare technical progress reports and report risks to the Chief Engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
