About the Role
Universal Packaging Company (Pvt) Limited is hiring an experienced Manager Finance in Karachi to lead financial planning, cost accounting, corporate taxation, and financial reporting across packaging operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct monthly financial closing, producing P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports in IFRS compliance.
- Oversee corporate cost accounting, gross margin analysis, product costing, and manufacturing overhead allocations.
- Ensure full compliance with federal and provincial tax laws (FBR, SRB), sales tax filings, and withholding returns.
- Manage working capital facilities, banking consortium relationships, letters of credit, and treasury cash management.
- Supervise the finance and accounting team, streamline accounting ERP controls, and facilitate annual external audits.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- CA / ACCA (Qualified or Finalist) or ACMA.
- Minimum 6 years of solid post-qualification experience in finance and accounts, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong financial modeling, budgeting, working capital optimization, and manufacturing cost control expertise.
- Comprehensive working command of corporate taxation, IFRS, and ERP accounting systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the flexible packaging, printing, or paper manufacturing industries.
