About the Role
HBL Asset Management Limited is hiring a seasoned Manager Finance at its Head Office in Karachi to prepare fund Net Asset Values (NAVs), oversee SECP/SBP regulatory reporting, and lead fund accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review the daily and periodical Net Asset Value (NAV) of assigned mutual funds and investment plans.
- Formulate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and SECP regulations.
- Prepare and submit monthly regulatory returns to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and SBP.
- Supervise fund transaction postings, bank reconciliations, trustee liaisons, and external audit finalizations.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or professional certification (ACCA, CA Finalist, or ICMA preferred).
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant fund accounting / financial management experience in the AMC sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of SECP mutual fund regulations, SBP guidelines, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Financial Management Systems (FMS), advanced Excel modeling, and tax reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience leading external audit audits with Big 4 firms for asset management entities.
