Manager IFRS-9 & Risk Analytics (AVP)
About the Role
Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) invites experienced banking professionals for the position of Manager IFRS-9 & Risk Analytics (AVP) in Islamabad to develop credit risk models, expected credit loss (ECL) frameworks, and prudential stress tests.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage implementation and continuous enhancement of IFRS-9 financial reporting and Expected Credit Loss (ECL) calculation models
- Formulate quantitative credit risk parameters including Probability of Default (PD), Loss Given Default (LGD), and Exposure at Default (EAD)
- Conduct macroeconomic scenario analyses and portfolio stress testing in alignment with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) prudential regulations
- Prepare detailed credit risk analytics reports, portfolio migration matrices, and impairment reconciliations for executive risk committees
- Liaise with external auditors, SBP inspection teams, and internal risk management groups on model validation and compliance
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Master's degree (16 years) in Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, or CA/ACCA/FRM
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of banking experience, with at least 3 years specialized in IFRS-9 modeling, risk analytics, or credit risk management
- Proficiency in statistical and modeling packages (R, Python, SAS, or advanced Excel SQL) for credit risk assessment
- In-depth understanding of Basel accords, SBP IFRS-9 guidelines, and agricultural banking portfolios
- Outstanding analytical writing, data visualization, and regulatory presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Financial Risk Manager (FRM) or PRM certification with experience implementing IFRS-9 in commercial or development banks
