Manager - Power Planning & Projects (T-3)
About the Role
Engro Enfrashare is seeking an experienced Manager - Power Planning & Projects (T-3) in Islamabad to lead telecom tower power architecture, DC solution optimization, and energy efficiency savings nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct site-wise power solution planning, hybrid energy architecture, and battery energy storage deployments across telecom towers.
- Monitor power consumption metrics, calculate site energy savings, and produce weekly and monthly efficiency reports.
- Analyze variance reports between grid availability, diesel generator run hours, and solar/hybrid yields.
- Collaborate with regional engineering and field operations teams to implement energy optimization initiatives.
- Lead vendor negotiations, technical equipment evaluations, and procurement specs for telecom power hardware.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecom Engineering from an accredited university.
- 5 to 7 years of engineering experience in OMO/TowerCo environments, including at least 3 to 5 years in power planning.
- Expertise in DC power planning, lithium-ion battery management, solar hybrid solutions, and generator sizing.
- Strong analytical capability, variance analysis, people management, and vendor governance skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing nationwide telecom infrastructure projects for major mobile network operators (MNOs).
