About the Role
The University of Lahore (UOL) invites dedicated retail professionals to apply for Merchandise Project Manager to spearhead the institutional campus merchandise store, product planning, and retail sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct end-to-end execution of the university merchandise shop project from concept design to retail operations.
- Develop apparel, stationery, and lifestyle merchandise lines and prepare commercial proposals for executive approval.
- Identify, negotiate with, and evaluate manufacturers and vendors for competitive pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Manage retail POS software, campus inventory levels, stock replenishment, and retail pricing strategies.
- Prepare project timelines, retail sales analytics, and profitability statements for executive management.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or Retail Management.
- 4 to 6 years of proven experience in retail merchandise operations, brand shop management, or apparel procurement.
- Strong vendor sourcing, commercial negotiation, and retail inventory management skills.
- Excellent project management capabilities, aesthetic sensibility, and budget control expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior background launching or managing university bookstore, corporate apparel shop, or brand boutique.
