Officer - Trade Based Money Laundering (TBML - Upto AVP-I)
About the Role
Bank of Khyber (BOK) is looking for detail-oriented banking professionals up to AVP-I in Karachi to manage Trade-Based Money Laundering (TBML) transaction scrutiny, trade compliance screening, and regulatory AML/CFT oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth screening and analysis of import/export trade documents to detect dual-use goods and TBML red flags.
- Evaluate trade transaction pricing, freight charges, and shipment routing against international price references.
- Collaborate closely with Trade Operations, AML/CFT compliance, and branch network to investigate suspicious trade anomalies.
- Prepare Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) in compliance with SBP regulations.
- Ensure airtight compliance with State Bank of Pakistan Foreign Exchange Manual, FATF directives, and internal TBML policies.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Graduation or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Commerce from an HEC-recognized university.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Trade Operations, Trade Advisory, or TBML unit within a reputable commercial bank.
- Comprehensive functional knowledge of UCP 600, SBP FE Regulations, sanction screening tools, and AML/CFT laws.
- Strong analytical aptitude, meticulous documentation, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or CDCS certification.
